Last 24th and 25th of October more than 100 participants attended the first national conference on MASS organized by the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine in the CEDEX facilities in Madrid. The conference included short talks of invited speakers on topics such as “The administration and autonomous ships”, “The impact of the autonomous ships in the maritime sector”, “Research and development”, “Projects” and “Classification societies and autonomous ships”. Among the talks, QAISC had a brief address on the topic of “New observing solutions that integrate sensors with AI for maritime safety”.
