R+D Alliances and Partnerships

QUALITAS has a long history of collaboration and forging alliances with private and public groups and knowledge leaders and in developing strategic initiatives in such ecosystems that pursue a high value together with customers and partners.

Among those the collaboration with:

PLOCAN, the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands, is a ICTS (Unique Scientific and Technological Research Infrastructure) co-funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of the Spanish government, the Canary Islands Government and by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Operational Program of the Canary Islands.

PLOCAN provides support to research, technological development and innovation in the marine and maritime sectors, is available to public and private users and offers both onshore and offshore experimental facilities and laboratories, operational throughout the whole year thanks to the Canary Islands excellent climatic conditions.

CTIM, the Imaging Technology Center of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) is a research organization founded back in 2010 by the Computer Science Department, the Electronic Engineering and the Mathematics Department. It stands for excellent scientific research and the education of young researchers in the field of computer vision, deep learning, data analytics, etc. inside an exciting work environment.
