GENCAT, ICATMAR, CODAR and QAISC meet at Rutgers University to foster international collaboration in marine technology and AI-driven ocean monitoring

Representatives from the Government of Catalonia (GENCAT), ICATMAR, CODAR Ocean Sensors, QAISC, and Qualitas Instruments visited the Center for Ocean Observing Leadership at Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA), one of the world’s most prestigious institutions in operational oceanography and coastal monitoring.

QAISC at MARTECH 25: advancing AI for coastal intelligence

QAISC participated in the international conference MARTECH 2025, where our team presented a novel AI-based approach for real-time shoreline monitoring, tested in Las Canteras Beach (Gran Canaria). The work, published in the official proceedings, reflects QAISC’s ongoing efforts through the Smart Coast AI Lab to deliver scalable, sensor-integrated solutions for environmental and coastal management.
