ICATMAR/ICM-CSIC, CODAR and QUALITAS organize an international workshop in Barcelona with the participation of leading scientific and operational institutions worldwide.

The event will bring together experts in ocean observation, coastal management, maritime intelligence and emerging technologies to exchange knowledge, experiences and challenges related to the use of SeaSonde HF Radar and its growing synergies with artificial intelligence.

Throughout the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore recent advances in coastal monitoring, discuss operational experiences and identify new possibilities for integrating HF Radar data with AI-based technologies.

The programme will also include dedicated spaces for small-group meetings, institutional exchanges and networking activities, providing an opportunity to strengthen international collaboration, build new partnerships and jointly define the next steps in the evolution of coastal observation systems.

Interested participants will also have the opportunity to visit a SeaSonde HF Radar site and gain first-hand insight into its operation and applications.
