Kiara Sánchez Cordero holds a B.Sc. in Data Science & Engineering from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Her Bachelor’s Thesis focused on developing an AI system for detecting and tracking vessels in collaboration with QAISC.

She is currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in IT Management from Valencian International University to expand her holistic knowledge of technological business and project management. She also aims to pursue a PhD in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Her passion for understanding data and developing data-driven solutions using Artificial Intelligence has led her to continually advance her skills in Deep Learning and Computer Vision. She applies her knowledge as a research support technician at the CTIM within the framework of the «SMART COAST AI SOLUTIONS 4.0» project, led by QAISC. Currently, she is developing new strategies with a special focus on their integration into remote systems.
